Get Well Soon Liz!

Wishing the great Elizabeth Taylor a speedy recovery, she is one of my all-time idols and one of the only true stars we have left.

SHOWstudio.com presents: The Karass

Sorry, I don't normally post this many videos but for some reason I'm on a roll...

Bygone Beauty

Just discovered a wonderful blog called Beauty is a Thing of the Past filled with countless magazine clippings from the 1930s and 1940s providing tips on styling your hair and creating the perfect make-up look. I'm obsessed with stuff like this, even if I don't always have the time to sit and painstakingly pin curl my whole head.

More Miles

I've just posted some Miles Aldridge images that relate to my own work over on my art blog The Nova Express, but here are some more purely for eye candy's sake.

Friday Night at the Movies

Tonight's viewing, courtesy of Love Film, will be the 1945 classic Mildred Pierce.

If anyone wants to send me one of these Mildred Pierce dolls, it's fine with me.

Call me a dum-dum, but I had NO idea that HBO filmed a new miniseries of Mildred Pierce, starring Kate Winslet. I've no idea when or where it will be shown, but the whole trend of re-doing classic films fills me with dread. I heard that there's going to be a remake of Gone With The Wind too - sorry, but without Gable and Leigh there is no Gone With The Wind. What next? A remake of Rebel Without A Cause starring R-Pattz? Zac Efron and Miley Cyrus starring in The Big Sleep? Megan Fox and Shia LeBoeuf in It Happened One Night? Say it ain't so...

To-day's Look.

Going for a vaguely Barbie look today...

Should probably have put fake eyelashes on, but it was really windy and rainy outside & it wouldn't have been wise.
