I'm back!

I'm thinking of just biting the bullet and getting a tumblr.......  since I use this blog mainly to post pictures and rarely write things. Plus, tumblrs have a better look. It feels slightly treacherous to leave blogspot behind though, seeing as we go waaay back. I'll look into it. Regardless if I do switch over, I'll be blogging the exact same kind of thing, so make sure to 'follow' the new me! X

It's funny how different you can look depending on the colour and cut of your wig...

I really like the blonde one, especially as the likelihood of me ever getting my black hair to that shade of near white is pretty much nonexistent. I've tried. And failed. The brunette wig reminds me of how I had my hair when I was about 14 or 15, except mine was more red. Bit strange to see myself looking like that now. I'll NOT be going back.

Take a Walk on the Wild Side

This weekend I'm going to an Andy Warhol's Factory themed birthday party. I'll be dressed as Candy Darling, one of my favourite Warhol Superstars...

I never realised that she had brown eyes, unless this is a trick of the camera... I'll have to look up more colour photos to check. I ordered blue contact lenses partly for this occasion, partly to aid my day-to-day Liz Taylor impersonations, and partly out of curiosity (my eyes are dark brown/hazel).

I'm still impatiently awaiting the release of the Candy documentary film, Beautiful Darling, which I'm sure I've mentioned before. I can't remember when it is supposed to be coming out. Does anyone know what's going on?

Anyway, I'll definitely post photos of my transformation and of the other party folk. xx
